The Passage Northwest is one of four Crown Camps located all around the world. We are dedicated to following Christ and reaching the next generation with His gospel. Tucked away in the pristine wilderness of Heron, Montana, The Passage Northwest is a Christian camp and conference center dedicated to glorifying God through gospel-centered gatherings, outdoor adventures, and Christ-honoring fellowship.
Set on beautiful, tucked-away land in northwest Montana, we exist to create a place for people of all ages to draw closer to the Lord through His creation, His Word, and enjoy fellowship with other believers. Whether you’re here for a retreat, a family event, or a wilderness experience, our desire is to see lives transformed by the power of Jesus Christ.

We are committed to providing a place where individuals, families, and church communities can step away from the distractions of daily life and connect with God in a deeper way.
What We Offer
Throughout the year, we host a variety of Christ-centered events that encourage spiritual growth, discipleship, and encouraging fellowship:
- Expressions of Love: Valentine’s Banquet (February)– An elegant evening designed to honor God’s design for marriage, complete with a delicious meal, fellowship, and biblical encouragement.
- Camp Mandan (March)– A rustic, discipleship-based wilderness experience for boys and young men, rooted in God’s word and adventure.
- Summer Camp (June-August)– A high-energy, gospel-focused camp for youth to grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. Churches all across Northwest America send their young people here for camp.
- Annual Christmas Community Open House (Decemeber) – A family-friendly event welcoming the community to explore the land, enjoy food and fellowship, and celebrate the birth of our Saviour.
- Men & Boys Bushcraft Retreat – A weekend of hands-on wilderness training, spiritual mentorship, and powerful teaching on biblical manhood for fathers, sons, and mentors.
Our Setting
Surrounded by forest, mountains, and beautiful ponds and rivers, The Passage Northwest offers beautiful rustic cabin lodging, enclosed & open-air meeting spaces, campfire circles, and trails that invite reflection and wonder. Whether gathered around the Word or walking in quiet prayer, every inch of this land points to the majesty of our Creator.
